A vast navigation of emotional and physical distance and technological borders. After returning to my orphanage for the first time in roughly 25 years by myself, I update my family on findings while I overlay 1999-2025 footage of China with a pre-recorded Google Maps exploration of Kunming, the city I’m from. Drawing from physical sensations (dizziness, a racing heart), I extend the opacity of the landscape of my body to the limited access Google has within China.
